"Curse of Andong" is an interactive fiction game where you play Hur, a mask maker tasked by ancient gods to craft twelve sacred masks. Navigate a haunting world of Korean folklore, battling creeping madness and making choices that determine your fate and the fate of those around you. 

How to Play "Curse of Andong"

"Curse of Andong" is an interactive fiction game, meaning you'll experience the story primarily through text and make choices to influence its outcome.

Controls:

• Mouse:
  • Reading: Read the text presented in each passage.
  • Making Choices: Click on the underlined links within the text to make decisions and advance the story. Each link represents a different action or dialogue option.
  • Interface Elements: Click on buttons or interactive elements (such as inventory or settings) within the game's interface to access their functions.
• Keyboard:
  • Generally, the game is primarily mouse-driven. However, your web browser's standard keyboard navigation may function (e.g., using the scroll wheel or arrow keys to scroll through text).
  • Some browers allow the use of the tab key to navigate to links, and then the enter key to select them.
• Inventory:
  • Click on the inventory button, or link, to view the items you have collected.
  • Some choices will only appear when you have the correct items.
• Sanity:
  • There is no numerical value. Instead, pay close attention to the text, and the background of the text. Distorted text, or changes in the color of the background will inform you of the changes to your sanity.
• Audio 
  • There is audio included in some parts and endings of the game, so listen carefully.

• Explore Different Paths: "Curse of Andong" features multiple story branches and endings, so replay the game to experience different outcomes.
• Observe the Environment: Pay attention to descriptions of the setting and atmosphere, as they can provide valuable insights.
• Be Aware of the Voices: The voices that Hur hears, are trying to influence you.
• Manage Seo-hwa: How you manage Seo-hwa, is very important to the ending of the game.
